Statistical Testing with R
Reviews
Praise for this book
Learning R made easy.
R and statistics can frighten anyone.
This book is a great resource for students and anyone else wanting to
learn statistics and R. The author has a knack of explaining things
in an easy and accessible way. Further, the book does not dwell on
mathematical formulas, which so many books do.
So if you want to move beyond tools such as SPSS,
then this is the book to get you started.

This is a very clear, logically structured and comprehensive guide to statistical testing using R.
With a worked example for every test, it coincidentally teaches the beginner the basics of programming in easy steps.
Choosing the clearest methods, this is great for people in a hurry. Seriously recommended.

He provides great guidance on the steps required to perform the tests, and the justification for these steps.
His writing flows yet he does not pass over difficult ideas with jargon, as is often the case with statistics books.
